Mixing It Up

I felt good on the treadmill today so I added an extra speed interval and pushed to 5 miles. My speed intervals are still slow but I’m still slow so that makes sense.

  • .25 mile warm up walk @3.3 mph
  • 1 mile @ 5.6 mph
  • 1 mile @ 5.8 mph
  • .25 mile @ 5.4 mph
  • .75 mile @ 6 mph
  • .25 mile @ 5.4 mph
  • .50 mile @ 6.1 mph
  • .25 mile @ 5.4 mph
  • .25 mile @ 6.2 mph
  • .25 mile @ 5.4 mph
  • .25 mile @ 6.5 mph
  • .25 mile @ I can’t remember if it was 5.6 or 5.4

Finish time 56:32 (including warm up walk). I’ll decide Thursday if I want to do the 4 I was supposed to do today or do 5.

*I have no idea if this is the correct way to do speed intervals. I pulled the distances and speed % increases off the interwebs this morning. If you have a better plan let me know.
