I just added the Pocatello Triathlon to my event schedule. Because I haven’t had to before, it’s the first time I registered as Athena (woman over 150 pounds regardless of age) and I’m sure it won’t be the last. It’s a reverse triathlon; run 5K, bike 20K, swim 500 yards. This should be interesting. The race is capped at 35 participants.
I guess I had so much fun pushing myself yesterday that I want to do it more. I was disappointed in my walking and swim time and the only way I’m going to get better is to practice more.
After Easter dunch with friends I have a 3 mile run today. Here’s to hoping this week’s training stays on track, I’m scheduled to take on a 9 mile run next weekend. Eek!
